The Chocolatier

I made new outfits for my dolls. Mystea's outfit is entitled "The Chocolatier". Timely, as it's inspired by chocolate goodness and halloween candies! XD

It was the most difficult and yet the most fun part! For her cake hat, I had to break some accessories and glue all of them together! It was tricky though because each piece should fit and shouldn't block each other.

The fabrics I used in this one were from an old dance costume I used back in highschool, it so happen that one of which reminds me of a chocolate wafer! And voila, it find itself in the skirt haha! The skirt was also made by yellow ribbons and laces. The upper part was a tube with I don't know what they call that one, but I aimed for couture-ish halter design hanging-behind-the-neck-stuff, lol! And the bag, that one is supposed to be puffy sleeves but it failed and so it resurrected into a cute fluffy bag. I would also like to point out those biscuit clips on her hair, are by the ever-awesome friend of mine.

Anyway, I'm glad that this project made me level up! I think.
I would say I improved on the measurement-skills and the closure part but I really really need to practice more on the sleeves and the neck part. (Also zippers, crotch area, bust area... etc.)
